• Conducted research work focused on hyperlipidemia, obesity and related complications under the supervision of Dr. Ferdous khan, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, North South University. We used natural antioxidants to evaluate their preventive nature and efficacy against obesity and diabetes in obese rat model. Our research was focused on the impact of bioactive lipids and food ingredients in adipogenesis, and we tried to understand their mechanism of action at the molecular level. We also studied oxidative stress in animal models, aiming to find cures for these oxidative stress-related complications from natural sources.

  
  Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handled laboratory animals and administered drugs or treatments.
  2. Performed histology techniques, recorded observations, and results 
  3. Prepared chemicals, solutions, and materials for experiments.
  4. Analyzed data and literature and prepared reports 
  5. Mentored incoming undergraduate students in laboratory techniques, accurate  data interpretation, and literature search
  6. Trained incoming undergraduate students in animal handling, animal dosing, chemical and biological screening of natural products
